Dr Chin Kok Ping
Founder and Medical Director
Dr Chin Kok Ping is an aesthetic doctor with a strong background in family medicine, skin health, and medical aesthetic leadership.
Before founding InnerSkin, Dr Chin Kok Ping served as the Medical Director of one of Singapore's largest aesthetic clinic groups, where he oversaw clinical standards while mentoring and training aesthetic doctors across multiple clinics.
Over the years, he has assessed and treated thousands of patients with a wide range of skin concerns. Managing such a diverse patient population allowed him to observe a common pattern: patients with similar concerns often required very different treatment approaches because the underlying causes were not the same.
Through years of clinical practice, Dr Chin recognised that successful aesthetic outcomes depend on understanding which biological layers of the skin are affected, rather than simply treating what is visible on the surface. Then he integrates thorough medical assessment, evidence-based aesthetic treatments, and a regenerative approach for long-term skin health.
Professional background
Throughout his medical career, Dr Chin has observed a consistent pattern — many patients seek treatment for what they can see, such as pigmentation, acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, or skin laxity.
However, these visible concerns are often the result of underlying changes within different layers of the skin. This understanding has shaped his clinical direction.
His experience spans clinical care, medical governance, and physician training, giving him a broad perspective on both patient care and aesthetic medicine standards. Dr Chin brings extensive clinical and leadership experience within Singapore’s medical and aesthetic landscape, including:
